{"id":232,"date":"2017-08-21T10:39:04","date_gmt":"2017-08-21T10:39:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/welcomepoint.hellocode.eu\/?page_id=232"},"modified":"2025-10-09T13:40:59","modified_gmt":"2025-10-09T11:40:59","slug":"terms-of-studies","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/welcome.uw.edu.pl\/wp\/?page_id=232","title":{"rendered":"Terms of study"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/welcome.uw.edu.pl\/content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Regulamin-studiow_2019_EN.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Rules of Study at the University of Warsaw (PDF)<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Foreigners studying at the University of Warsaw pay for studies. <\/strong>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/rekrutacja.uw.edu.pl\/en\/application-and-tuition-fees\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">about tuition fees.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Tuition fees for <strong>full-time studies<\/strong> <strong>conducted in Polish<\/strong> are not charged in the case of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>citizens of <strong>the European Union (EU)<\/strong> or the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) and their family members residing in Poland,<\/li>\n<li>foreigners who have been granted a <strong>permanent residence permit<\/strong> (settlement permit) or an EU long-term residence permit,<\/li>\n<li>foreigners who have been granted a <strong>temporary residence permit<\/strong> (residence permit for a fixed period) pursuant to some special circumstances, referred to in Articles: 159 section 1, or Article 186 section 1 subsections 3 or 4 of the Act of 12 December 2013 on foreigners,<\/li>\n<li>foreigners who hold <strong>refugee status<\/strong> granted by the Republic of Poland,<\/li>\n<li>foreigners who have been granted <strong>temporary protection<\/strong> in the territory of Poland,<\/li>\n<li>foreigners who have been granted <strong>subsidiary protection<\/strong> in the territory of Poland,<\/li>\n<li>holders of the <strong>C1 Polish certificate<\/strong>\u00a0issued by <strong>the State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li>holders of a valid\u00a0<strong>Pole&#8217;s Card<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li>holders of a formal decision on <strong>Polish origin<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li><strong>spouses, children and parents<\/strong> of a Polish citizen, if residing in the territory of Poland,<\/li>\n<li>foreigners who have been granted a temporary residence permit (residence permit for a fixed period) pursuant to circumstances, referred to in Articles: 151 section 1 (for purpose of scientific research), or Article 151b section 1 (for long-term mobility of scientist) of the Act of 12 December 2013 on foreigners or stay in territory of the Republic of Poland in accordance of short-term mobility of scientist on terms specified in Article 156b section 1 of the Act on Foreigners of 12 December 2013 or hold national visa issued for the purpose of scientific research or development work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Please note<\/strong>: Foreigners can be exempted from tuition fees on the basis of a decision of the minister or the director of the <a href=\"https:\/\/nawa.gov.pl\/en\/\">Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange<\/a> regarding granting a scholarship.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Rules of Study at the University of Warsaw (PDF) Foreigners studying at the University of Warsaw pay for studies.
