The University of Warsaw Library (BUW) is situated not far from the city centre –\u00a0 in Powi\u015ble district in the vicinity of the Old Town and Vistula river. It is only 10 minutes walking distance from the main Campus of the University in Krakowskie Przedmie\u015bcie and the Royal Route. There is a convenient bus connection. Three buses (106, 118, 127) stop right next to the Library. It is very easy to get here from the airport or from other outlying suburbs (you must get to Krakowskie Przedmie\u015bcie and walk the escarpment down).<\/p>\n
To be able to use the library, you will need to have your student ID with you. Read here how to receive it<\/a><\/p>\n Apart from the large collection of books, journals and other study and research materials, you will be able to access computers, printers and copy machines there. Please contact your receiving unit about access, opening hours and rules of using the libraries.
