Welcome Point invites international students and employees<\/h1>\n

Welcome Point is the central information service for international employees, visitors, and students \u2013 both those who come to UW for a one-semester exchange and those who come to pursue the whole cycle of studies. We cooperate closely with the Admissions Office<\/a>, the\u00a0International Relations Office<\/a>, the\u00a0Office for Academic and Student Affairs<\/a>, and other University units to provide you with relevant and up-to-date information on matters related to the University, student activities, and everyday life.<\/h6>\n

Our team is here to assist you at the beginning and during your stay in Warsaw. We will be glad to answer your questions concerning studies at UW and life in Poland, as well as to direct you to other University offices. We hope to make your transition to UW and life in Warsaw as smooth as possible!<\/h6>\n

ADMISSIONS OFFICE<\/b><\/a><\/h6>\n<\/section>\n

Located on the ground floor of the Kazimierzowski Palace, the Admissions Office will guide you through the procedure of applying for full-time studies at the University of Warsaw (Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees). They will inform you about the most up-to-date full-time course offer available at UW, application requirements and terms of studying in Poland, and other related matters.<\/p>\n

OFFICE OF ACADEMIC AND STUDENT AFFAIRS<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

If you are a full-time undergraduate or graduate student, the staff of the Office of Academic and Student Affairs will help you at the beginning and during your studies in Warsaw. They will help with matters related to social welfare and the legalisation of your stay (residence permit). You can also obtain information about Foundation Year there.<\/a><\/p>\n

INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS OFFICE<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

You need to visit IRO if you are an exchange student coming to study at UW for up to one year. The IRO staff will assist you in all administrative matters related to your stay, including processing your application, issuing your student ID, and providing you with a confirmation of arrival\/departure.<\/p>\n
