On the occasion of the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, the University of Warsaw community gathered for the fifth edition of Miasteczko na styku kultur – Cultural HotSpot UW!
Inspired by the idea of celebrating cultural diversity and intercultural dialogue, the event took place on 21 May 2026 at the Main Campus of the University of Warsaw/ Participants could enjoy interactive games, workshops, artistic performances, and cultural activities prepared by members of the University of Warsaw community.
The University of Warsaw is a truly diverse and colorful place, created by people from different cultures, backgrounds, and experiences – and this event once again showed how much strength and inspiration come from our multicultural community. Thank you to all of you for making UW such an open, vibrant, and welcoming space.
We would especially like to thank everyone who helped prepare the new edition of the cultural activities zone and contributed to the event’s wonderful atmosphere.
The event was organised by the International Cooperation Commission of the UW Students’ Union’s Board, the Volunteer Centre of the University of Warsaw, Welcome Point UW, and the Students’ Union of the Faculty of Asian and African Cultures.
